Conservatories are glazed single storey extensions constructed on a dwarf wall or full height glazing, featuring a glass or polycarbonate roof. Works include the base and groundworks, dwarf wall brickwork, frames and glazing, the roof, and the connection back to the house, available in styles such as Victorian, Edwardian and lean to. Doors and electrics are installed as required.
Conservatories fall within permitted development rights, meaning they are exempt from planning permission providing the structure sits at the rear of the home, stands under four metres in height, is no wider than the width of your home, and extends no further than 6 metres out (or 8 metres for detached houses).
